Who is PayCloud Test Tools built for?

Issuer banks, personalization bureaus, certification labs, and card and POS manufacturers. Each segment runs a different mix of modules on the same platform, mapped to its part of the card lifecycle, whether you issue, personalize, certify, or manufacture.

How does pre-certification testing reduce our scheme costs?

Scheme certification fees are charged per run, and a failed submission means paying again. Validating personalization data, key ceremonies, and configurations before you submit to a scheme lab catches failures earlier, where they are cheaper to fix. Fewer failed runs means lower spend and a faster launch.

What does the platform actually test?

Four areas on one platform: issuance and personalization (EMV data prep, key generation, card production), HSM and cryptography, card and application validation against scheme specifications, and full payment-network simulation across gateway, acquirer, scheme, issuer switch, and fraud. Together they cover card production through transaction authorization.

How is the platform deployed and integrated?

It is multi-tenant and cloud-agnostic, with a web frontend, REST APIs, an operator console, and an audit dashboard. Run it in the cloud or on-premise for regulated environments. Integration uses standard interfaces, including ISO 8583, REST APIs, PC/SC readers, and existing personalization lines and card management systems.

Does it work with both cloud-based and physical HSMs?

Yes. The HSM Orchestrator gives you one abstraction across physical HSMs, cloud-based HSMs, and software simulators. The same tests and key operations run unchanged wherever your keys are held, so you are not tied to a single HSM deployment model.

How is card data protected, and how does it handle multiple issuer clients?

Cryptographic operations are HSM-backed, key custody stays inside hardware or cloud security modules, and tokenization keeps raw card numbers out of test flows. Multi-tenant isolation gives each issuer client separate keys, role separation, and full audit logging. Bureaus can run full inline validation rather than sampling, so every card is checked before it ships.
